HOW DOES AN ADVENTURE RACE WORK?

Before the race: You’ll receive a course guide and two waterproof maps of the area with a series of check points (CPs) marked on them. You have 1 hour to plan the best route to complete the course.

The race: You’ll run, mountain bike and kayak your way around the course, using the map and your planned route to find all of the checkpoints and punch your race card. The course guide and map will show whether the checkpoint is for the running, biking, or kayaking sections.

Collect all checkpoints for each leg in the order described in the course guide, then go to the finish line before the 4.5-hour cut-off. The winning team is the first one to cross the finish line with all the checkpoints.

Adventure racing is all about getting out there and having fun!
